Hi all, up for sale are my two Heinrichs-Weikamp OSTC Sport dive computers.
There was an old Sport model, but this is the 2019-introduced Sport model, which to me is perhaps the best computer they made: It takes any AA battery, and with SAFT cells it can last up to 150 hours of dive time (thanks to a low power chip and I think the magnetic buttons save power too, compared to piezo ones). Unheard of battery duration in this type of dive computer. It has very sturdy, user-maintainable and exchangeable magnetic buttons, that give great tactile feedback even with thick gloves.
It does NOT have: GPS, Air-Integration, nor charging. And if you need CCR and Trimix, that'll cost an extra 120 € fee to upgrade (can be done online). It connects to Subsurface on the Mac, and to the "OSTConf" App on the iphone. It does do Nitrox up to 100% O2.
I prefer the OSTC over the Perdix due to the much crisper display, clearer menu logic and more extensive customization. I once posted a mini comparison here, perhaps I should write a more detailed review some day. It's a nice, precise instrument in a gorgeous aluminum housing. HW are also great folks to deal with in any matter.
Offered for 400 $ or best offer (Payment via Zelle or PayPal Friends only).
