Don't miss this event with Michelle Sattler. Find out how all those fish ended up at the Shedd!
Michelle is the Aquarium Collections Manager for Waters of the World Gallery and is also the Aquarist in charge of the Caribbean Reef Exhibit
This is your chance to learn first hand how fish in the Caribbean Reef exhibit go from the ocean to the exhibit. You will learn about collection planning, collecting on scuba, transporting to the aquarium, quarantine and acclimation to the exhibit. This will be a unique first hand look on the inner workings of one of the premier aquariums in the United States, if not the world.

She has been on Three Shedd Aquarium Collecting trips aboard the Coral Reef Two, an 80 foot Research/Collecting vessel stationed in Miami Florida.

Hope to see you all there!
