Neebies heading to Key Largo for or first solo adventure, staying at the Marriot and looking for any input on the Dove organization that operates there, Pirate Island Divers.

Any suggestions for "cant miss opportunities" would be appreciated as well.

Also try the state park down there, they have a very nice dive boat and very knowledgable staff. If you are new to diving be careful of the currents they can obe pretty strong.

There are more dive ops in Key Largo than gas stations. This seems to be one of the most often asked questions on Scubaboard, so there is a TON of responses to sort through. There are many often praised shops and many dive ops folks who participate on Scubaboard. Feel free to send them a PM with direct questions. Everyone has favorites for their own reasons. Search and read some threads about the dive ops that might interest you. Feel free to call and chat with them (and me :D) as well. I have friends at many and we all want to help you make the most of your vacation. Whether you dive with me or choose to dive with another, please stop by and say hi while you are here. :wavey:
