Good advice out there. I agree the prople in Thailand are some of the friendliest I have ever met (and the food is great). I am going to be spending a few weeks in Pattaya and a week in Phuket. What I am thinking so far is a few day trips from Pattaya and maybe a three day livaboard out of Phuket.
