Ok, now I wonder how Sealux has solved this for the EX1 if Helmut doesn't have a solution yet....

You can buy a 10 pin to LANC adaptor though, for sony camcorders. Most lanc controllers still work once you get the adaptor. The problem with the 520v is it no longer supports any focus commands via the wired remote interface, whereas the SR12 and earlier did.

wow, I am also looking at that Sony camcorder but I will be getting the Ikelite housing. I wonder how they are going to do the reverse circuitry for the mirror thing no LANC. I am sure they can come up with a work-around, but at what cost. 
Seems like maybe they should just make a bigger housing (like some of the Canons) so the screen can be open and viewed through the back. :shocked2: I guess I will wait and see when the Ikelite housing comes out to decide if I want to go with it or another camcorder.

Ah, OK. Thank you. Sorry for the late answer, my internet at home is down. It seems that everything has to change just for the change
