Many of you spent your vacation 2005 here on our beautiful Islands. Plus I know our locals are snap happy....so please share your favorite Hawaii photo (s) of 2005 and tell us where it was taken and why it is your favorite!

Thanks for sharing

1. Maui or Molokai? View flying home
2. Royal Hawaiian from diveboat in Waikiki
3. Oahu surfboards (Waikiki)
4. Fantasy Reef Resident (Maunalua Bay)

Nice Pics Catherine.

Keahou Bay, Big Island, 9-6-2005.

This was my first trip to the Big Island. I went alone (I find that's the best way for me to appreciate a destination...going with someone else distracts me from the enjoyment of exploration a little) and took a charter with Jack's Diving Locker. So far it's my favorite evening on record. Ever. One photo came out looking like I meant to take it...and it was this one.

Great Pictures everybody! Thanks for sharing your memories.

Pictures that define 2005 for me are:

I have a couple thousand Hawaii pics. All three of these were taken on the Big Island. I like them because they are unusual.

This is a nice whaleshark experience.

My husband may possibly be the only Kona Icediver. (He was preparing for a dive trip to Antarctica.)

More Kona fun.

Come on, don't be shy....:D...we know you were here!

wow, I was really struck by jeepfifty and what he said about his best evening ever and the fact that he has a picture he loves (manta)! Thats what photography is for me, little momentos of a great experience. I think I will try to keep this ball rolling, and post a few more.
Also, the bike shot was glorious!
Leesa, loved seeing the underwater "double-hose" wedding!! And the goby shot--perfect!

these shots: Cup coral (look underside of The Mahi), wild flower on Hawaii Loa hike, Capt. Joey in the Corsair, Eagle Ray at the YO257, Scubadrew's monk seal at spitting caves, Shark's Cove on a calm summer day
