I was telling my son a scuba diving story and mentioned to him that they named a dive site after me, he started to laugh and said they tell everybody that. So, my question is this, did they really name a dive site after me in my honor or is my kid right and they will tell everyone the same thing?

The name of the dive site is Richies point and it is in Puerto Galera Philippines, it goes from Minolo to the beginning of White beach. Has anyone done this dive before me?. Its a drift dive.

That is cute 🩷

But if climbing as a first person on top of a mountain for example in Antarctica, the climber can name the mountain 🏔️

One can call it anything they want, however to be official, one has to apply according to the attached document.
