I'll be driving over from Las Vegas, on my way back to Texas I thought I'd so some diving. So any place between LA and SD would be fine.

if your going to be in LA, you really should try to get on a boat to catalina or anacapa for a day, or a 3-dive san diego trip. post here if you need more info on those choices, I'm sure you'll get lots of responses.

A bunch of us meet on Saturday mornings at Laguna Hills Mall @ 7:30am and then caravan to Laguna to dive....If interested join us

Shaggie, I will probably go with the www.southcoastdivers.com group
as mentioned by "ocgrant" also. Keep in mind they usually only do one early morning dive then meet for brunch. For a full day of diving, hop on the http://www.catalinaexpress.com/ and dive at the dive park at Casino Point. Saturday, there is always willing buddies around. Or San Diego on www.loisann.com Looks like they have spots open 1st with wrecks and 2nd @ Coronados. Both great trips. And again easy to buddie up. Hope all goes well.

Thanks for the info Dwaters. While I'd like to meet up with some locals for some beach diving (yes, I'd like to do more than one dive)the Lois Ann sounds like a really good outfit to dive with. I wish the Coronado's trip weren't full.
