I was looking at buying the UK Light Cannon but I have seen many people have had problems with the light actually lighting up. That along with the price of a new bulb makes the LC not so attractive.

However, I now see the Trek ex 60, an LED light. Has anyone used this light or a reaonably priced LED light?

Does it have good power and light output?

Need more info on LED vs Standard light bulbs.

Yep, bought one for a song the 128 lumens model was great flood pattern perfect for clear water, super bright. There is a newer 178 lumen version the actual only diff is a more concentrated beam, 15 degrees vs 20 degrees. I'd rec it for recreational diving as aprimary light. Small too.

Oh and the service from Tektite was absolutely superb they even sent me two free replacement o rings to Japan. Amazing.

My mistake newer one is 186 lumens.
