Has anyone tried to homebrew a dive boat like these?

Anybody have any custom/home made dive rides they'd like to share?
 
With as much effort that was put into converting that Buick into a sea-worthy vessel, you would think that it would have been easier to just make a real boat out of wood.

I guess you could say that car was......all washed up!
