TRACC is a marine conservation centre but divers can visit to work with the scientists and students. UNLIMITED diving and they have great reviews on trip advisor and are clearly making a lot of difference to the reef on pom pom island which is just to the N of Semporna. I have just come back from Mabul Shark week with scubajunkie and Steve and another scientist gave a great talk about sharks. From Facebook tracc.borneo I gather they have a United Nations (UNDP) grant and so need a lot of assistance to plant corals. They currently have a 50% offer on the normal visitor price. I am thinking of a 2 week trip in Oct, but wonder if anyone else has any more information. I know the island has great macro diving because i hav a friend who visited CBR also on Pom Pom Island.
please message me tt.diver@yahoo.com or check them out at tracc.org
