might be worth giving http://www.reefsafari.com a buzz, i would recommend them. I did my dive course with them, classes of no more than 2-4 at the time, and you can get personal dive guides etc.

They usually go from Abel Point Marina on reefjet, links on the reef safari sight.

I work for Reef Safari. We don't have the Reef Jet contract anymore. We now just have the contract for diving services on Cruise Whitsundays' pontoon at Knuckle Reef. It's a day trip thing.
