DH and I are scheduled for a week on the Cuan Law in July. We have been diving in the BVI (last summer, in fact) but have never been on a liveaboard at all.

Any advice? Has anyone been on the Cuan Law itself? I searched and found a few trip reports--several good ones---but wondered if there were any others out there that have yet to be written. lol

We are headed back to FIBR on Roatan in ten days but I keep thinking ahead. ;)

I did a trip on the Cuan Law in June 2005, before the brighter leather upholstery! I think you'll have fun, the trimaran design gives the deck an open feel. I think Capt. Steve is the only crew still aboard of the folks on our trip, he really knew sailing and I felt like I was in good hands. Most of the diving was from small RIBs, with easy boarding ladders. If you can, have dinner before or after the trip at the Sugar Mill Restaurant. Send me a PM if you have particular questions. I think lots of others on the board will pipe in as well if you ask.
