Anyone own one? A local dive shop i deal with a lot told me to wait on the Bare suit and to check out Harvey suits they will have in shortly. How do they compare with other manufacturers. In particular I was looking at their 7.0 mm Pro-flex suits, but I would really prefer a one piece...I think.

I purchased a Harvey's Semi-dry 7mm wetsuit 2 years ago. I've used it in water as cold as 40 degrees and stay toasty warm. The suit is a 2 peice and that's the main reason it keeps me so warm, being doubled over in the chest I have 14mm thickness over everything except my arms and legs. The neck is like a turtle neck and zips shut horizontally across the top of the chest. So to get into my wetsuit I have to pull the flap with the neck hole over my head from the back.

The suit is super comfortable and I am glad I spent the $300 on this suit and not some other. The semi dry seals are comfortable and once you let in a little water that water wamrs up and stays there for the entire dive. The only down side to the suit is that after you've done a shore dive in waves and surges you have to get that flap over your head again. That's when your dive buddy comes in handy.

I'd highly recommend the same 7mm 2 peice semi-dry wetsuit I own. I don't know what the product name is, just know it's a Harvey's and I love it. It get's a bit too toasty in 70+ degree water for me, for those dives I just unzip the suit a little to let water flow through.
