Ditto on the Halcyon webbing. Like a couple others I saw, the webbing is the only blue H on my rig and only because I've found it's the best combination of supple and rigid, if that makes sense. If you are shopping locally though, I would definitely err on the side of rigidity and flexibility. If the webbing is too supple, the triglides will tend to migrate. Sure, rigid webbing is a pain to put together, but at least things tend to stay up then.

I've also seen a few votes for DGX webbing. I don't have a BPW with that but I do have the smaller 1" webbing on a stage rig, it seems nice.

@Anthony A., @marsh9077, interesting that you say the Halcyon is on the supple side. I suppose mine may have stiffened over time (would not say it's become brittle though)

i just bought a bunch of 2" webbing from Strapworks......nice and stiff, works pretty well

When I was looking for strap for my harness, I wasn’t having fun trying to navigate their site, it’s better now, and I just called and talked to a woman about what I was looking for and got me what I wanted. When in doubt, give them a call, nice folks, and they know their product.

I was looking for a stiff strapping like that on old SCUBA rigs, and at the time it was not easy to find on their website.
