I'd like to do this to my belt-end too. This is an area where webbing floppiness is particularity annoying. How stiff does the glue make it? Is it so stiff that it cracks when bent? Dry time? You're talking about typical PVC plumbing pipe glue like the Oatley stuff you find at Home Depot?

The glue makes it stiff.
The belt will not crack if bent
It dries in 2 minutes
yes Home depot Oatley clear pvc glue

dab a bunch on each side, let it soak in for 1 minute, and then wipe the excess off with a rag. Let dry for 5 minutes and repeat if not stiff enough.
