I was looking at the video posted in the "Vintage Diving" Forum of folks hard hat diving at Dutch Springs, PA. If you haven't already, check it out. Anyway, does anyone know of hard hat diving opportunities being offered here in TX for people to experience?

Every once in a while Ocean Corp has a two-day Commercial Dive Experience (I think they've been calling it Camp CDE recently) where show you how to use various commercial diving equipment and let you try it out in their training pools. I did it several years ago and it's just a ton of fun. There are some pics posted here.

I have a friend with an SL37 in Texas. If you guys are close, he'd let you dive it. Where are you at?

Sending him a text now. I'll let you know when I hear something...

Interesting pics! And no, I would not like being in the diving bell for 8 minutes, much less for 8 hours!

sometimes I wear a yellow construction hard hat or a
Cave helmet when I do low vis dives so I don't bump my head.
You are probably not interested in that sort of hard hat dive though :-)
