Cool link, Don. Thanks. I'll be sure to burn a Yule log to keep the tradition going.

Thanks Don and I will echo: Happy Solstice to all..may blessings abound.

I celebrated the Winter Solstice this year, for the first time, with my kids. It was a very special time for me, to share with them the 'true' meaning of this season.

Best Wishes, and the blessings of those you hold in reverence, and those who revere you.

Trivia question for you that celebrate the winter solstice:

When is the shortest day of the year, as measured by the time between successive crossing of the meridian (due south line) by the sun?

Hint: it is related to the same phenomena that made the earliest sunset occur a couple weeks ago and latest sunrise another week or two from now.
