Heading back from Catalina Island today with the family and I picked up at least 30+ valentines day balloons floating in the Pacific. There must be hundreds out there.

By the by - Spotted the usual suspects yesterday (Sunday) including Sundiver hitting dive spots at Two Harbors heading south east. With the family so no diving. Dolphins were a highlight this trip...

Dwayne.

Thanks for helping keep our oceans cleaner :)

Just trying to protect the wildlife... but I do own a power boat.

Catch of the day... About half/half latex/mylar balloons.

Where is a photo of your boat? Show us what you got :)

Its the red one... Stabicraft 829...

Aluminium chambered so virtually unsinkable. Twin Honda 150's. twin fuel tanks, twin fuel water separators, Diesel furnace for heating and hot water. Shower and head cubicle on the port side of the back deck. Sleeps 2.5+1. 40 Gallons Fresh Water. Dinette, sink and stove. 200 mile range. 31' and... A big three step T Bar ladder on the back transom - I can throw my fins and weight belt on board and climb aboard with the BP/W and tank on my back.

A nice hot shower after a winter night dive.:D

So when are you gonna take us diving off that fancy red boat? Hehe.

I knew that was coming :D

All of my diving is night diving after 7:30PM - If you see me during the day, likely I have my family onboard. My buddy also has a boat so we alternate vessels to share costs.

You can appreciate you have to have a lot of confidence in the people you dive with - There is a group of 3-4 of us between the two vessels plus a few tag alongs from Dive N Surf who join us now and then.

You would be surprised - Theres many many private dive boats I see all the time leaving from my local marina. This forum has a very small subset of the local dive community.
