I came home today to find, on the kitchen counter, an envelope . . . From Florida.

An envelope from Florida, from Gainesville.

With a congratulatory letter in it. And a card.

I PASSED FUNDIES. OFFICIALLY. I HAVE THE CARD!!!!!!!

I danced wildly around the kitchen, card in hand. I skipped and hopped and jumped and twirled. I passed, and now I have the card to prove it.

I'm not a card collector, but this one gets bronzed.

Yes, it has meaning. It has many hours of work and many memories attached to it. It's a card I'm truly proud to carry, even if it really brings me nothing and almost nobody else knows what it connotes
