your final stage 4 or 7 rings fitted ?

A gift from santa manual is in the post to you.
you version is one of the first 3s10, check for any play crosshead/gudgon pin/small end bush.
this must be 100% ,or final piston will try to run un even it the linner.
if final stage is worn its best to do a up grade

i drop the speed down to 1400rpm and find they run better/they dont like high running temp

Colin, Thank you very much.
I've checked everything very closely and can barely feel any play in the third stage piston fitting to the connecting rod. I have new crankshaft bearing installed and the connecting rods have no side thrust that I can feel. I plan to use summit DSL-100 oil in the unit when I start it up again -- is that viscosity high enough?
Do you have a cost if I decide to upgrade to the parts above?
