I don't know about hammerheads, but if you're looking for a real off-the-wall (or more correctly: in the wall) experience in Sipidan, try the cave dive that's 20M down the wall in front of Sipidan. It's the scariest thing I've ever done, and I've been diving for 48 yrs. I can give you more details if you're interested.
