It appears there is a small Hammerhead hanging out our reefs this past week or so. Several vids have been posted on social media.

There has been a hammerhead around for awhile though I can't say if it's the same one. I presume so. Many years ago all we saw were Nurse sharks with a few isolated reports of some reef sharks. This excepts those at the far north of the island. But in the last few years we have been seeing more of various kinds. More reef sharks but small, silky, hammerhead,. There are reported sightings of tiger sharks (and I think outside the park) but I can't verify those directly.
