My 12 year old halycon wing cover has ripped. The actual bladder seems fine.

Question is if I have to pay for a new cover would I be better off just replacing the entire thing?

Just send it to them and see what they say. There’s a chance they replace it under warranty. Halcyon are really good about that sort of thing.

Call Extreme Exposure. They handle the retail part for Halcion. There was a now-known inadequate nylon material that just unravels itself. They have replaced a couple of them for me, no questions asked.

Now it can take a while: I think one of them took eight weeks, because it is a design they no longer make. So they had to make it as a-one off for me. But other than the slight delay, I’ve had zero problems. And in that case, I was actually local, so they gave me one of the rental wings in the interim. There’s really nothing to complain about even if you tried! :-)

There is no doubt you pay a premium price for Halcyon, but you also get premium service and support.
