Hi,

I have the chance to buy 2 Halcyon used Eclipse wings. Both are about 4 years old and in great condition. However, both have the stainless LP inflator, the so-called "newer" version with the groove.

I have been reading up on the SS inflators. They seem to be extremely problem-prone in a very bad way. Halcyon's site says they have recalled well over 90% of them.

Is this true of the "newer" version? Is Halcyon replacing these on recall even if you buy a used one?

If not, how much does it cost to switch out the SS inflator for a new one? I don't want to take any chances.

No.

The site indicates that 100% were recalled, and they are pleased they
have been able to recover approximately 90%, as I am pleased all
your other questions are answered also in a comprehensive manner.

Now that's a recall

that has nothing to do with buying inflators or O rings.

I bought the original that was then recalled and replaced with the new improved model. The new one has worked flawlessly for years without any rebuild.
I have some brand new ones if any one needs one.
