Thanks for the info it'll be helpful if/when I lose one them. BTW, why do you think they're called sex bolts?

Mine come off all the time and I just got a bag from them in the mail. 1.59 each. The guy also told me they put "stay tight" or something like a glue on them to keep them tight... I have about 40 dives on my eclipse and they fall off left and right. BUT I have to say, the person who put it together probably just finger tightened them initially.

Its a great BC for hovering with a big camera but my low pressure inflator (all stainless) had machining flaw and so I am about to switch that to the new one Halcyon sent me.

you could always do away with the bolts all together and use small zip ties.

I don't think you need to glue it....It sounds like an overkill. Just simple pre-gear check up will be fine with that. Just my 2 psi.

The thing with sex bolts is that you -want- to take them appart at some point usually.... especially when they are holding a pad to a BP. If these things can come unscrewed, you can't get the pad off the BP which makes it a REAL pain to get the wing/sta/doubles/etc off. Hand tighten them, turn slightly with a flathead and check them before dives.
