hey gang looking at a used halcyon infinity bp/w set up. My question is there any way to tell if it is a small or regular size?

There's a thread called Hacyon infinity size for 5'3" in the Halcyon section. I tried to copy/paste but couldn't. It's got some recommendations and a chart. It's mainly a question of torso size. My wife is 5'3" but has a long torso so she uses a standard plate.

The current owner has no idea weather it is a small or standard so if anyone else is ever wondering I called halcyon and they measured a standard at 16 inches in height

Apologies, I thought you were wondering if you needed a small or regular.........I have both, I could of measured them. Sorry.

Need coffee......

I have 2 Halcyon BPs that are 15 5/8", but their website says they are 15 1/2 inches.

The difference is only the size of the backplate. It comes in two size as you may already know: Regular and small. The easiest way to tell whether it is regular or small is by the camband slots. Regular plate has camband slots on the plate. Smaller does NOT. Simple as that, no need to take any measurement

As to who should use small, who should use regular. It is rather personal. IMO, 5'6" is about the border. I am exactly 5'6". I have a regular AL plate and a small SS plate. Both works for me but I prefer the small plate myself.
