Let me throw an odd one out there, has anyone put a Zeagle Ranger bladder onto a Halcyon backplate? I am at work right now and can't remember how the holes line up on the bladder.

I believe that the holes don't line up at all, or rather, there are large openings in the material of the ranger bladder where a normal 11" bladder pattern would go. A friend of mine was thinking of doing this recently with a different zeagle BC since I had an Al plate laying around. He was going to have to have material sewn in to make it work. If I remember right, there were a few other issues as well.

Zeagle bladders don't have the standard grommets to fit a backplate. However, it was suggested here to burn the holes yourself to make it fit. I think the straps that connect the two sides of the bladder fit accross where the holes are in a standard backplate, so if you don't mind poking holes into it, thats an option.
