Anyone got recent temp readings and depth of the thermocline from Haigh??

Thanks in advance!
Steve

Hi Steve,

On Sunday the thermocline was about 32 feet. The coldest I got a temp at 45 feet was 54 degrees. Above the thermocline I had a temp of 60 degrees.

The shallow side was around 74 degrees at a depth of 28 feet.

Hope this helps. Are you guys coming out this weekend? Did you get your semi-dry fixed/replaced?

Thanks for the update ....

As for this weekend, I'm not sure. I'm thinking that my 2pc 3mm Jacket/John might be a bit chilly if I venture away from the shallow side or dip below the thermocline; even if I do wear my hooded vest! (although it looks like it's going to be hot enough out... 90's!!) Sophie may have practice on Saterday, I'll find out towmorrow night

As for the suit, I just found out today that the replacement is on back-order ... :depressed:

What's the vis like right now. I'm thinking about coming this weekend.

The vis on the weekends is usually 20-25 ft, compaired to 25-40 feet during the week when the silt is not being kicked up by the open water students.
