This Thursday is the last weekday dive I will be able to do for the season. Will anybody be able to dive the Haigh with me this week ?
I will be there by 8:30am.

Jim

I'll be there. Figuring on this being my last mid-week dive for the season.:depressed:

Looks like it will just be you and me again. Unless our "Yes I'm certified for solo....oh I forgot my card....oh what, you looked it up on the internet and I'm not there....well.....gotta go!" diver shows up again. :D

Well , we better not stir up the bottom too much.

People would be able to blame us for the bad vis this weekend.

See you in the am.

Jim

It was great. Rob and I had the quarry to ourselves.
As to the vis and the temp, well thats another story all together.

The temp at 47 ft was 61 degs f. and at 63 ft it was 58 degs.

The vis was not the best , is some areas it was 15 to 20 ft, and others it was 2 ft. At about 45 ft there is a cloud cover that got thicker as you went deeper.
The deep hole is for the most part not diveable at this time. We went down to the hole and got to about 63 ft where we couldn't see each others lights thru the darkness, and we were only about 5 ft from each other.

The area on the north east side of the quarry has about the best visability in the quarry, it gets all of the sun and not all the traffic.

Hope to get a few more dives in this year.

Ouch, that's not the most stunning recommendation.

Sorry I missed you. Will see if anyone's up for a dive this Thursday (10/28), but if the vis is that bad, I may just try to get a November weekend dive in.
