JacobsonC2:
can someone post the temps and viz for haigh? thanks!

Vis is kinda sucky deep - - Anything below 55ft is pitch black. Surface water temp running in the mid to upper 60's. . . Depth is hanging at 60 and then 50's below 40ft. . .

You thinking of going?? Let me know, I really want to get out and dive!.

I was there last weekend and managed to catch a picture of a paddle fish... what a rush when your at 500psi doing a safety stop and here comes the bastige.

The water temp on the surface was about 17 C but the visibility is definetly 25 + when you stay shallow. The visibility is better on the deep side of the quarry but again when you stay shallow.... go figure. Vis goes to crapo when you go below 40-50ft. The thermocline is at about 38ft and the temp below that is down in the upper 50s to lower 60s. The visibility is also great near the fish habitat. If you want to hunt for the paddle fish... stay to the right side of the middle road and hover at about 15 ft and just wait for a while or swim around... might just get lucky. Tina posted a pic of the paddle fish someone else caught... I sent her my pic as well so maybe she will post that.

Im flying out to Brazil Oct 21st, so if I wasnt doing that... I would join you :)
Hope this help, have fun diving :)
