So my oldest son is doing his last AOW dives on Saturday the 30th and his dives for rescue on Sunday the 31st. Being the supportive dad and all, I guess I will have to head down to Haigh with him for both days of diving ... :D

I'm hoping to find someone (or somones) willing to buddy up with a newb for my first quarry dives this year

I would like to finally get down there myself. I was hoping to go this past weekend for the Chicago Scuba Meetup but couldn't make it. Please PM me if you are interested.

Thanks,
Peter

Yup I'll be there diving with Duane on saturday and I'll most likely be there on sunday working on some skills for my intro to tech class with my girlfriend.

Hi Steve, I will be at the quarry on Saturday. Hopefully I can get there around 8:30 am. I will be able to stay until 3pm or so. I will look for you with the shop gathering near the pavilion. I think I remember what Brandon looks like so if I can't find you, I will look for him.

I cant make it Sunday as I have an event with Diveheart (see my signature line).

Just so you know, this past Saturday, water temps at 50 feet were 47/48 degrees and temps at 28 feet were 57/58.

See you on Saturday!

I believe I will be there Saturday and Sunday. Looking for a buddy on Saturday.

I'll buddy with you on Saturday if you want to. Just let me know. (I was going to pm you about this thread after I sent my previous post but you snuck in posted while I was typing.)

It looks like I'll be there early on Saturday (7:30ish) :shocked2: and earlier on Sunday (7:00ish) :depressed: because of my son's classes ...

Ah well, who needs sleep anyway!! :D

Peter - I PM'd you earlier; let me know your ETA

Duane, StreetDoc and Mr/Mrs Dragon, I look forward to meeting you and loading some nitrogen with you as well

Jep - when are you starting that project to remove the un-natural objects from the quarry??? Did you get all the lift bags you were looking for? ;)

Luckydays - I'll be looking for you! (I tried talking Sophie into coming out one of the days, but she wants no part of the quarry since she dove in Florida)

Steve
