I should tell you about my 4th Bonaire trip first, which I just got back from; give me a few days on that...
Next dive trip isn't set yet, but I'm angling for early April at this point.

AA has 2 flights a day from MIA to CUR. If you leave the northeast way too early in the morning, you can get to CUR mid-afternoon and everything is still open for business...

Sorry, Bob
We have an extremely small Toko in Westpunt. Barber is 10 miles away with the big market but for the best variety Centrum or L'Esperamos would have more items. I only suggest stopping if time allows so you can do your check out dive and get settled with the dive shop on your first morning. Then you can plan to shop if you need more.

chauncy:

If you are on the AA flight from Miami that gets to Curacao in the evening, you will probably be too late to go to Centrum and if you are like us, not really in much of a mood to do extensive shopping anyway. A good alternative is to head to Westpunt and stop at the Chinese owned market on the way and get what you need to get you by until you have time to head to Centrum in a day or so. I have never been to Oassis, so I can't compare them.

A word of caution...don't buy milk at the Chinese place. It is European stuff that through the miracle of science is good for like three years without refrigeration and tastes like bilge water (Just my opinion). Get some Muesli and yogurt or something, but for the love of Neptune, don't get the milk!

My apologies to anyone who actually likes this stuff...different strokes and all that.

thanks for info. I am guessing will have to bring breakfast and lunch atleast for first days. then it will be off to the market. must have priorities diving and rest being the first two. i can eat tuna and muesli for couple of days no problem. I pass on milk anyway and will gladly go for yogurt.
thanks again.
