Haaa Oly C5050 users . . need a bit of help

Haaa folks,
Just got back from a two week dive trip down to Roatan and had a BLAST. I took TONS of pics with My Oly C5050 set up using the "Manual White Balance Technique".

Now I do have a real nice INON 220 Strobe for my setup but I have never really learned how to use it . . soooo . . here is my question . .

- What do I have to do to get my camera to talk to the strobe . . correctly ??
- I am using the INON cover film over the flash on my camera so only IR light is being seen by the Fiber Optic Cable that I attach to the front flash suppresor. Now I know this is a great strobe but what and how do I set it up . . ???

Set the camera's flash to "slave" - level 1. The camera's flash will trigger the strobe. You adjust the strobe manually.

You will also want to return the white balance back to auto when using the strobe. I don't use the IR light film for a couple of reasons. I don't want to install and remove it from the camera and there are occasions I want to use the internal flash with the strobe. Instead of using the IR film, I cut a piece of balck plastic to match the housing diffuser and hold it in place with the strobe fiber holder. That way I can remove it at any time including underwater.

I use a 5050 with an Inon strobe with the IR filter and FO cable. For most pictures I set the strobe to STTL low and then use the power adjustment knob to make corrections particular to the circumstance. For far away shots I use the Sttl high setting.
