water out at Gull Island was a pretty seriously clean blue after 30ft on a couple dives. then was slightly green. probably 40 gray whales passing by, just during the SI's. couple of pics if i get them on.

It's a Tritonia festiva....they are often found on red gorgonian, much like your pictures shows :D

I read another dive report from that trip. Sounded like a great time....plus you were lucky enough to have decent weather!
 
thanks ligersandtions, i got to page 6 and thought it was the last one, i guess there were more, on the On-line field guide for fish & nudibranchs. Cool.
