I would like to see some diving entity with deep pockets aquire a rig and convert it to a dive resort. All the facilities such as kitchen, living quarters, etc is already there.

Hey thanks MB, great stuff. The pics really help me see what it's all about. Will put "rig diving" on my Diving To Do List.

There is so much to see on one rig that I can't believe more people don't dive them. I have talked to people that have dived for 10 or more years in the caribean(sp) and have never considered diving the rigs in the own back yard. I had a guy even tell me that there isn't anything in the nasty gulf to see.
Another danger is the currents. But then again there are currents everywhere.
