Has diving resumed in the gulf yet?? Are there going to be any make-up tournaments out of the Dauphin Island/Orange Beach area? Not being near I just have no idea of the damage done by the oil spill. You never know if the news is telling the truth or exagerating to draw in viewers.

I've been wondering the same thing. I guess I need to check with a LDS in the area. The media wants viewers and readers. Truth is optional.

Here in Mississippi all fishing in our waters have reopened. There is still a huge debate and testing for "invisible" underwater plumes of oil that are thought to be scattered about. Our seafood is tested regularly and no problems thus far. We have not had any sizeable amounts of oil wash up on our beaches or spotted in our water for some time. That said, you may want to check with LDS in the area you are wanting to hunt.
