The only thing guinness isn't good for is the waist line!!!!
Hey - it's got fewer carbs AND calories than lowfat Milk or OJ, not to mention Budweiser!

I didn't know that. I am a guinness drinker to the end. I need the protein. Love it.

I prefer Tetley's, but there are sometimes that just require Guiness.

Guinness Draught and Young's Double Chocolate Stout are my 2 favorite beers. If you haven't had Young's and you like Guinness, you'll probaly like the Double Chocolate Stout as well.

But don't buy Young's in a bottle. Only buy that one in a can. Unlike Guinness, it doesn't have the widget in the bottle to charge the beer with Nitrogen. Only the cans from Young's have the Nitrogen widget. The bottles are charged with CO2, so you don't get that "silky" taste. In fact, I thought that the Young's beer in a bottle actually tasted bad it was so different.

Unfortunately, I haven't had either since I went on a diet to lose 40 pounds on January 5th. I've only got 5 pounds left to lose and look forward to rewarding myself with one of each!

Cheers! :crafty:

I have been drinking the stuff since being a boy. However how many of you have tried it in Ireland and also paid less than $4-5 per pint? That is the main reason i only leave it for special occasions due to price, i dont like that other light water that is sold over here as domestic.

Not so keen on pretty much any canned or bottle beers, just doesnt seem the same as a draft. The only drinks that works for are Boddies (mmm) and most of the light beers (which i dont like).

I like Boddingtons when I'm in the mood for a really light beer.

Cheers!

But I have had it in England.

Has anyone ever had Orval?
