Hafa Adai! Boat dives are easy to find and inexpensive. There are always boat dives going on day and night, just call around the different shops and ask. There a ton of 6-8 person dive boats on the island. MDA is a good shop/starting point and has competent people chartering the dive trips and so does Guam Tropical Dive Center. Shore diving is good there too. I would recomend the wrecks Tokai Maru and the Cormoran for a boat dive. They were touching each other but an earthquake has moved them about 6' apart. The Coral Gardens are nice at night. For some interesting shore diving check out Apra harbor. Theres a huge amount of military vehicles, barges and tanks scuttled in about 30' of water and a Jap Zero too. I never had to wear more than a t-shirt diving in Guam but most people wear a dive skin. Kings has a good breakfast and you can get mahi with your eggs. Rosies is famous for their shrimp and mushroom omelets. Be sure to go to Jeffs Pirates Cove for lunch and the Tower of London Pub is a good relaxing way to cap off an evening, they have big comfy chairs. It's a classic English pub in Guam and the locals are very cool. Also go to Club Dallas(no cover charge, nude girls and cheap beer) at least once if only to watch the strippers embarass the Japanese tourists and their girlfriends. Don't forget to see Yokoies cave and Tumon Falls. If you get to know a local ask them about Marbo cave. It has 2 fresh water pools (with albino cave shrimp) that are connected by a short tunnel. It's not a cave dive(I know what you're thinking, technically it would be if you were using scuba), just hold your breath and swim 10', you can't get lost, little kids do it all day long. If you have any questions about Guam feel free to ask. I lived there long enough to get island fever and have seen every inch of that island. I worked for Guam Cable, beleive me, I've seen every inch of that island. It's a great place and the Chomoru are very friendly people. You're gonna have a good time there...unless your in the military, then it's gonna totaly suck, jk.
