Ok, I've been to Bonaire several times but it's always been just me and the wife. We are planning a trip with another couple, our daughter and 2 single guys. Trying to find a condo that will accommodate all of us so that we might possibly get a better rate.

Has anybody had any good/bad experiences at some of the larger condos? I've always stayed at DenLaman in the past and found it just fine. I know at times security can be a concern.

Thanks!

By my count that's 4 or 5 bedrooms. I'm not aware of any condos with that many rooms. You'll likely have to look at villas/homes. VRBO is a great place to start.

I've seen this property from the outside and know it's in a great oceanfront location. It's in the deep end of a gated community, there's a great dive site in front of the property, and there's a dive shop located almost next door.

Try Buddy Dive.. you can get either a 3 bedroom unit, each bedroom has its own bathroom, or go for two 2 bedroom units with 4 bedrooms total. At Buddys you will also get a truck as part of their package. Usually 2 trucks with the 3 bedroom unit, 1 truck per 2 bedroom units..How old is the daughter? If a kid she can stay either on a couch or you can get a pullout bed and keep her in your room if you chose the 3 bedroom unit. Packages at Buddy include buffet breakfast and transport from and to airport. security at Buddy dive has been very good.

go to VRBO and look for condos/homes for rent. We have been to Bonaire 6 times and have used them the last 3 times with great success and it really is a lot less expensive this way and you have tons of room to spread out when you have that many people rather than doing resort rooms. Nothing wrong with the buddy dives etc. just better and cheaper renting condos or homes.

Thanks for the suggestions. Don't think anybody in our group cares about the larger bedroom, etc. We just want to dive. The two guys are actually fine sleeping in the same room together on twin beds. So we might can pull it off with a 3 bedroom. 2 couples in 2 rooms and them in a room and my daughter can crash on a cot or couch in our room maybe.

I'll have to check out some of the places y'all mentioned. Once again thanks for the help.

One more option: Yachtclub Apartments has a 3 bedroom apartment where "The luxury, spacious apartments are suitable for 6 persons (If necessary, an extra bed can be placed in the bedroom)." They also say "Children up to 12 years, on sofabed, free. Additional person : $ 30,- p.n." We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment there 5 years ago and were satisfied.

Bear in mind that this response is totally self serving....but CoralSea Apartments (which I own...:)) might suit you. Check out Coralseaapartments.com The location and lay out sound like what you're looking for, security is good, you can walk to the Bachelor's beach in 5 minutes. Cheers, Duncan
