You're lucky Matthew. In my opinion SE Asia and the Indo Pacific offer the best diving anywhere. Just look at any reef fishes of the world book. About 10% is Caribbean fishes and almost the rest is Indo Pacific. This goes for nudibranches, coral, sponges etc etc. Go for it. It's unreal.

I've seen some fantastic pictures of that area! You may want to look at the photos in our Scuba Gallery. I believe that Chris Bangs has lots of photos of that area. Some of his photos don't even look real they are so cool!
