I am in Richmond, VA now, but grew up in Gainesville, FL, which makes me a rare person indeed! I have lived here for about 8 months now, and I love my job, but haven't had much time to develop an opinion on Richmond as a city. I definitely want to get back to FL because I really miss the diving, but I have a great job here so I may be stuck for a while!

I am certified Master Diver (NAUI) and Intro to Cave (NACD), but I haven't been under in about 3 years, (since I first moved away, to Atlanta). I have my stuff back out and hope to get back under sometime this fall. I just have to set aside the money to have my regs checked out and get my tanks hydro'ed (yeah, I should have sold them with such a long layoff, but it was always, "I'll make time to dive the next trip down!" which is every 2-3 months at least)

BTW, I'm glad I saw the warhammer posts before I looked through the smilies. I would never have gotten the joke when I saw this smiley :warhammer listed as warhammer! :laugh:

Welcome to the board! I'm actually going to be re-locating "to" the Gainesville area within the next year. I'll be looking forward to hitting you up for tips on good dive sites
