Hello and welcome to the board. I too started visiting this board around the time I got certified (last year). This is a great place to continue learning and to share your new experiences with other divers.

Have fun and dive safe, Gio. You already have transferable skills from rock climbing and knowledge from physics. Just remember, the water is different. You need water time. Not courses, although those are useful. just time in the water. Do lots of boat dives and shore dives in your area.
All the rest will become apparent as you progress.
