Diver since 1998. Been out of the water for nearly two years. Had a bad experience that made me second guess myself. I have had time to think about it and am looking forward to getting back in the saddle or should I say BC.

Going on a cruise this summer. Can't pass up the opportunity to dive in Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Belize now can I.

Have ton's of questions that need to be answered about each location. Sure you all will be able to help me out that is if I can't find the answers already posted.

Got certified in Fiji. Now I am spoiled Look forward to more warm water diving. Yippee

maybe you could tell your story, perhaps in the general scuba discussion forum.

You probably know that a refresher course would be prudent, but just in case - I'll mention it. And I'd be interested in your negative experience, too, if you'd like to tell it? It might help to do so, or - if you don't want to, that's okay. :57:

Hello and welcome back to Scuba!!! I too am from So Cal and love our local beach diving. Look in the travel section on threads pertaining to Cozumel, Cayman, and Belize. I personally like our marine life here. But that is me. I found the reefs in Cozumel to far and in between with not much life.

Do take the advice of taking a refresher class. Don't know your certification level, but would be wise to get advanced cert as well to hone in on skills, including navigation.
