Good luck to you ... you'll learn alot here for sure!

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome and kind words. Looks like I might be heading to some pretty cool places for diving sometime next year, a few are hawaii, brisbane, and guam. I have been reading a lot of good advice on here. I cant believe how welcoming and open the diving community is, it just makes me look forward to everything even more. I am sure along with all the fun of diving I will meet some really great people. Thanks again everyone.

Welcome aboard Navy.

If you're stationed in Bremerton are you already the other kind of "bubblehead"?

I've done a bit of diving in the PNW and it was awesome, save yourself some chills, once you're trained and start gearing up, skip the wetsuit and go straight to dry, you'll need it there.

Welcome aboard.... check out your base rec services. I found out after I retired that there were tons of opportunities where rec services teamed up with a LDS to offer classes on base. Nice discount on most bases for the class, too.
