Nah, haven't done it yet, although it's in my future while I'm living out here. Unfortunately, Saudi is off limits to my right now due to my job and the situation. Thinking about a liveaboard this winter off the coast of Sudan, however.

Sounds er, different! ;) . What's Sudanese diving like?

Okay, I'm the second longest lurker on record--since November 2002 when I learned to dive (just got my Master Scuba Diver rating). I live in Abu Dhabi (go to Saudia Arabia and hang a right)--do most of my diving in the Gulf of Oman, with the occasional trip to Maldives/Malaysia/Indonesia. My wife and I dive together and have about 150 dives each. I'm just now starting to explore the whole DIR thing, so I'll probably be spending a lot more time here. Been real nice reading all the friendly (okay, sometimes combative) advice :dazzler1: .
