Hello everyone, I'm a new member to scubaboard but I have already learned a few things...thanks! I'm from Rhode Island, hence the greeting. And for those of you that aren't sure, RI is a suburb of Boston, MA. This is my second year diving...yep, newbie, but I've logged almost 100 dives since getting my c-card...looks like I have the disease and I'm happy for it. I'm actually in the market now for a drysuit and I have been reviewing the posts to get an idea on what to look for. I don't think I need a $2,000 drysuit but I do want one that will last. I welcome your thoughts on the topic...material, brand, etc.

I bought a Bare ATR HD Trilaminate suit and am very happy with it. You can get them online at www.divetank.com for a very reasonable price. Your LDS will probably carry them as well and even through a LDS the price is quite reasonable.

I'm from the SF Bay Area in California which is in the center of the state but is considered Northern California... NorCal for short.
