I've been diving for about two years thanks to encouragement from NWGrateful Diver. Still struggling with cold water dives, I prefer diving in the Caribbean when I have the opportunity. I'd like to get serious about underwater photography, but haven't made up my mind which camera is best. Has anyone out there had experience with Bonica?

Welcome to the board!
I had a Bonica film camera....it was just ok. Go digital!

Thanks, scubajoe. I hear that Bonica is releasing a new digital camera. The entire package, including lights, will retail for about $1500 which makes it a lot more attractive than buying an underwater housing for my digital SLR. I'm hoping to find someone that's tested it.

For that much money I think you can get into a Cannon or and Olympus housing and all. I am relatively sure the quality would far exceed the Bonica.
Check out the Olympus section in the photo forum. Look at Gilligans and Dees photos in the Gallery.
