Welcome to ScubaBoard! My wife's family is from Berea. I'm a diver, but I'm excited to hear what all you find on your artifact hunts. Civil war stuff? That would be cool. Glad you're with us!
 
Welcome. Kentucky is a long enough state east-to-west that where you're at has an impact on dive offerings. Up north/central, I'm not too familiar with it, but a Facebook group called the Kentucky Piranha Patrol would be a good place to get up to speed. In the southwestern portion, a quarry site called Pennyroyal Blue Springs Resort is a big regional training draw, and has an onsite dive shop, air fills and tank rentals, etc...
