1st time posting so I will hope this all makes some sence. I am an active member of a technical dive team diving most weekends on tri mix rebreathers in the Dubai area. We also own a Haskel Pump that seems to be sticking. I have stripped the pump and inside all is clean and well. I have no idea how to adjust the cycle stroke as lack of information. There is an obvious reverse mechanism through a few basic valve arangements but these are fixed length so I am unsure of what adjustment could be made. There is also a piston with a lot of o rings and air channels this looks like an obvious spot. The pump when it does run works perfect so I am still not sure. Can't aford to send to Haskel as the prices they charge are very high and I think it is only adjustment. If anyone can help would appretiate it.

I don't have a clue what a Haskel Pump is....all I can say is good luck!

Well leeman,

I'm a pretty new diver, so the Haskel pump thing has me baffled. I do remember Eddie Haskel from Leave it to Beaver, and I was wondering what he wound up doing with his life. I guess he invented a pump. Kidding aside, welcome to ScubaBoard, and I know if there's any info on Haskel pumps on the internet, it's here!

Most of us are recreational divers and instructors, but you'll meet a few who are qualified to help you if you hang around here.
